Pet
Charmante Skostredet Hôtel is a pet-free hotel.
Smoking
All hotel rooms and public areas are non-smoking. Smoking will incur a cleaning fee of a minimum of NOK 6,000 for decontamination, as well as any additional costs for lost revenue if the room must be taken out of service.
Luggage and belongings
Charmante Skostredet Hôtel offers luggage storage in a locked luggage room. Luggage must not be left unattended at reception or other public areas.
For security reasons, the hotel is not obligated to store items of high value or items that may pose a risk to employees or guests.
The hotel is not responsible for luggage or belongings left in the hotel room or luggage room.
Security
Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits, fire alarms, and firefighting equipment. Information about escape routes can also be found in your room.
Terms and conditions
Generally
By staying at Charmante Skostredet Hôtel, the guest accepts the hotel's terms and conditions for renting hotel rooms. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following terms and conditions apply. Separate terms and conditions apply for meetings, conferences and group bookings.
Reservation
When a reservation is made, the guest receives a confirmation by email with information about the number of people, price, accommodation, and other products and services included.
A reservation is binding when it has been confirmed and you have received a reservation confirmation. Confirmation can be given verbally, in writing or through our booking system.
When booking, you must provide your name, address, arrival and departure dates, and desired payment method.
To reserve a room at Charmante Skostredet Hôtel, you must be 18 years of age or older. If you book on behalf of a minor, you are responsible for the stay, regardless of whether you are staying at the hotel yourself.
For security reasons, only hotel employees and registered guests have access to hotel rooms and other reserved areas.
Price agreement
Agreed prices are binding on both parties.
Prices are based on applicable taxes and fees. The hotel reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of increased costs related to goods and services, changes in taxes and fees, or other circumstances beyond the hotel's control.
Ankomst og avreise
Check-in is guaranteed from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out must be no later than 12:00 on the day of departure.
The times are also stated in the reservation confirmation.
Alcohol brought in
It is not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the hotel premises.
This rule has been introduced for safety, well-being and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. We ask that you use our selection of beverages during your stay.
Cancellation and no-show
Cancellation policies depend on the room rate or booking type selected.
You can find the applicable cancellation conditions in the reservation confirmation you received.
Flexible price
Flexible rate reservations can be changed or canceled free of charge up until the deadline stated in the reservation confirmation.
Upon cancellation, you will receive a confirmation that should be kept as documentation.
If you cancel after the deadline or if you do not show up ("no show"), one night's stay will be charged per reserved room.
Non-refundable price
Reservations with a non-refundable rate cannot be changed, canceled or refunded, including in the event of no-show.
Reservation guarantee
All reservations must be guaranteed in advance through a company agreement, travel agency or valid payment card.
For corporate and travel agency bookings, the terms agreed upon in the relevant cooperation agreement apply.
Early departure and stay without a fixed departure date
If you have booked a stay for a specific period, but travel earlier than agreed, this may result in a change in the price.
We ask that you inform the hotel if you end your stay earlier than planned.
If the stay is extended one night at a time without a fixed departure date, the hotel must be notified of departure no later than 3:00 PM the day before departure.
If this is not done, one additional night will be charged.
If the hotel is unable to extend your stay, you will be informed no later than the day before.
Payment
Payment for rooms is made upon arrival.
Any additional purchases during your stay will be paid for at check-out.
The charming Skostredet Hôtel accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and Eurocard.
As part of the hotel's procedures, a credit card is required upon check-in. The card may be pre-authorized to guarantee your stay.
Invoice payment must be agreed upon prior to arrival, and a credit check may be conducted.
The hotel is cashless.
The hotel is not obligated to accept checks, gift certificates or foreign currency unless agreed in advance.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failure to fulfill its obligations if this is due to circumstances beyond the party's reasonable control (force majeure).
This includes, among other things, acts of terrorism, war, riots, vandalism, government orders, accidents, technical failures, fire, flood, storm, epidemics, pandemics or loss of electricity, water, telecommunications or other necessary services.
The affected party shall notify the other party in writing as soon as possible and state the cause, expected duration and what measures are being taken to limit the consequences.
If the force majeure situation lasts for a continuous period that makes implementation of the agreement impossible, either party may terminate the agreement with immediate effect by written notice.
Upon such termination, neither party may claim compensation from the other for loss or damage resulting from the termination.
